LUDIA now asks visitors to confirm they are 18 or older before using the chat, in line with our AI model provider's own terms. This is a one-time confirmation stored only in your own browser — no account is created.

We added automated protections against scripted or automated abuse of the chat feature (bot detection and rate limiting), so that we can keep offering LUDIA for free with no login.

LUDIA's underlying instructions now include specific guidance for responding with care if a message signals someone may be in crisis or distress.
